About This Project

Welcome to the submission page for the Los Angeles Public Library's Zine collection! This collection is a reflection of the diverse voices and communities within the City of Los Angeles.

Submitting your zine to the Los Angeles Public Library's Zine collection is free, taking only about 5-10 minutes. You are welcome to submit as many zines as you'd like, and we accept zines in the juvenile, young adult, and adult categories.

Before submitting, please consider the following:

- Your submission must be an original work to which you own the rights.
- For physical zines, you may scan or take pictures of the pages, then convert them to a PDF file.
- Submissions must be in PDF format.
- All submissions will be reviewed.

Additional Information

Here are simple ways to convert an image (JPG, PNG, etc.) into a PDF:

Option 1: Right-click (Windows)

  1. Right-click the image file
  2. Select Print
  3. Choose Microsoft Print to PDF as the printer
  4. Click Print
  5. Choose where to save the PDF

Option 2: Mac (Preview)

  1. Open the image in Preview
  2. Click File → Export as PDF
  3. Save the file

Option 3: Google Docs / Drive

  1. Upload the image to Google Drive
  2. Open it with Google Docs
  3. Click File → Download → PDF Document (.pdf)
